Your day begins when your driver and expert guide meet you in your hotel lobby for a full, immersive visit of Versailles. The drive offers time to get acquainted with your guide, who will tailor the experience to your interests for a more personalized tour.

When you arrive at the Palace, you’ll avoid the main lines and enter through the side entrance reserved for accredited tour companies. Your visit starts at the Royal Chapel, where you’ll learn about the connection between the royal family and the Catholic Church, as well as the idea of absolute monarchy and the king’s divine authority.

From there, your private guide leads you through the King’s State Apartments. As you follow the same path once taken by the royal family and their courtiers, you’ll hear stories about the daily life of Versailles—receptions, performances, evening celebrations, and the elaborate etiquette that shaped everything from greetings to ceremony. From April to October, the gardens feature seasonal events such as the Musical Fountains Show and Musical Gardens, where water features move in rhythm with Baroque music.
