Departure at the earliest at your convenience from your hotel in Paris or Roissy.
Visit the Monet's garden
Visit his house of Giverny, where he lived all the end of his life. He was also passionate about the garden and the colors and composed a garden that inspired his paintings on Nympheas ( waterlilies).
Giverny Museum of Impressionism
In 2009, a partnership between the Terra Foundation for American Art, the Conseil départemental de l'Eure, the Conseil départemental de la Seine-Maritime, the Haute-Normandie region, the Communauté de communes de Vernon and the Ville de Vernon, as well as the Musée d'Orsay, created the Giverny Impressionism Museum, which replaces the Giverny American Art Museum. This new museum aims to study the history of Impressionism and its aftermath, as well as its more distant consequences in the second half of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century.
Each year, different exhibits take place.
For the 2026 season, the museum will present "Before the Water Lilies: Monet discovers Giverny, 1883-1890" from March 27 to July 5, 2026. This exhibition marks the centenary of Claude Monet's passing and focuses on the artist's early years in Giverny, from his arrival in 1883 to the end of 1890, when he became the owner of his house and began designing his legendary garden.

Day 2 Honfleur - Le Havre - Etretat

You can also find inspiration from young painters with 80 galleries distributed throughout the city and discover the remarkable Saint‑Catherine Church, the largest wooden church with a separate bell tower in France, built by local shipwrights and resembling an upturned hull.
In the late afternoon, a visit to the city of Le Havre or with Monet during his youth. It is there that he met Eugene Boudin, who introduced him to painting outdoors and especially made him aware of changing light.
The city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site because the town was destroyed during the beaches landing in 1944. Auguste Perret, the Master of Le Corbusier, rebuilt it.
