Beaune

Burgundy Wine & Medieval Tour

Overview

Enjoying a good wine with friends is one of the favorite activities of the French, and it is probably because each French region has its own vineyard. One of the best-known in the world is Burgundy, with its capital, Beaune, and Its Renowned Wine.

Hospice of the Middle Ages, the Hospices de Beaune - Hôtel-Dieu are one of the most prestigious French historical monuments. Its flamboyant Gothic architecture, polychrome roofs, and renowned vineyards make this museum a jewel of Burgundy. The Hospices de Beaune - Hôtel-Dieu are also famous for their exceptional wine estate, which comprises 85% of first and grand crus, sold at auction on the third Sunday of November.
